Disintegration is the name of the eight studio album recorded by The Cure. Disintegration is considered the 2nd album in the record "trilogy" in the following order: Pornography(1982), Disintegration(1989), Bloodflowers(2000). On June 3, 2003 the DVD titled The Cure - Trilogy was released containing the three albums played in consequent order from the live performance in the Tempodrom, Berlin, November 2002. Disintegration is the first album that was primarily designed to be recorded on a Compact Disc and half of the songs on this record are over 6 minutes long, making the vynil 2 songs short (See track listing below). The CD contains 11 songs including the songs that are missing from the vynil: "Last Dance" and "Homesick". Disintegration is considered the break-through achievement of the band and the single, most important milestone of their success. The album contains some of the most recognizable songs, "Pictures of You" (at one point used in a Kodak TV commercial), Love Song, Lullaby, Fascination Street and Disintegration.
